Being Certain of Christ in Uncertain Times
In all the uncertainty in the world today, let’s join together and focus on the certain One...
The God of Peace in the midst of confusion...
The Lifter of Our Head, when we’re discouraged...
The Mighty Warrior at our side, when fear tries to overtake us...
Our Shepherd who is with us in the darkest valleys of life...
The Ruler of all things who can overrule anything that comes against us...
The Sovereign Lord for whom nothing is impossible...
The Everlasting God who gives us strength when we are weary
and power when we are worn out...
The Lord of peace who Himself gives us all kinds of peace in every way...
Immanuel, God with us—always...
Our Sure Foundation, when nothing in these shifting, changing times seems stable...
Our Shield, when troubles come in waves...
Our Ever-Present Help, when something overwhelms us...
The God of all Comfort, when we face loss...
The babe in the manger...
Jesus, the Christ, Messiah, Savior of the world who gives us hope...
The Son of God, who set aside His glory to become the Son of man...
The Lord of glory, who was crucified for us...
Our soon and coming King.
We celebrate all that He is as we rejoice in the birth of the babe Mary held in her arms.
Christmas is about Him, the Light of the World...
The One who lives in unapproachable light,
Who wraps Himself with light as with a garment,
The One who is resplendent with light...and with love.
To us a child is born, to us a son is given...and He shall be called...
Wonderful Counselor,
Mighty God,
Everlasting Father,
Prince of peace...
And the angel said to Mary, you are to give Him the name Jesus.
Together we celebrate the babe in the manger who was and is the Lord of all!
Confession is part of Jesus' model prayer in Matthew 6. Each part of His prayer is important and must be included as part of our prayers, if we want to experience the fullness of the personal relationship with our Lord.
The holidays are nearly here. For many people, perhaps the thought of gathering with family isn’t filled with anticipation but hesitance. Maybe there is a feeling of anxiety or sadness. The truth is that not all families have holidays gatherings that are perfect and filled with joy. We have a few suggestions that we believe will help because we believe that nothing is impossible with God!
